Stężyca – Revitalization project of the Vistula oxbow lake in Stężyca
A project to develop the beautiful Vistula River landscape in Stężyca, envisioning the creation of an attractive recreational area offering a variety of leisure activities. All landscape design elements are subordinated to nature. The access road from the causeway to the beaches, bike paths, architectural features, and new landscape forms are gently integrated into the banks of the Stężyca Sandbank. New elements designed to enliven this space and attract users include a wave-shaped shelter (enabling sporting events, boat and kayak rentals, among other things), two bridges for people, bicycles, and horses (spans of 54.3 and 36.6 meters), sandy and grassy beaches, and a slide.
